Description

This course offers a practical teaching approach assisting an instructor with an applied riding class. Observation, class management and teaching skills, as well as riding student and peer teaching assessment will be practiced. Students will meet at the scheduled course time with all teaching techniques students in their discipline and will also serve as a teaching assistant for one applied riding course.
Prerequisite: EQS212, PED 104 and current Red Cross or American Heart Association Adult First aid and CPR certification
