Description

Teachers have left the profession in droves over the past decade. This course allows students to investigate the ‘push’ and ‘pull’ factors leading teachers into and out of the profession. The scope of the course ranges from pre-service teachers’ beliefs about the teaching profession to psychological factors influencing persistence and attrition of practitioners.
