Description

The law consists of rules that regulate the conduct of individuals, businesses, and other organizations within society. It is intended to protect persons and their property from unwanted interference from others. In other words, the law forbids persons from engaging in certain undesirable activities.
Law, in its generic sense, is a body of rules of action or conduct prescribed by controlling authority, and having binging legal force. That which must be obeyed and followed by citizens subject to sanctions or legal consequences is a law.
This course focus is that the legal environment of business and government, as well as business and society, takes an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing elements of law, political economy, international business, ethics, social responsibility, and management. The material in this course is focused on the managerial issues confronting executives as they plan, organize, staff, and control operations of a company.
