Description

The role of training has broadened beyond training program design. Training managers, human resource experts, and other trainers are increasingly asked to create systems to motivate employees to learn, create knowledge, and share that knowledge with other employees and the company. Rapid change in business organizations as well as increased competition often means employee skills need to change. For these reasons, training and development is an important aspect of human resources management. Students are challenged to not only learn the basics of training and development but to become confident in the basics that will form the foundations of training and development in the 21st century.
