Description

History of Western Europe (including England) from the fouteenth through the seventeeth century. Topics include the development of Italian humanism, new directions in political theory and practice, commerical and technological change, expanding geographical horizons, and the origins, development and impact on political, economic, social and cultural life of the Protestant, Catholic and Radical Reformation movements.
Prerequisite: Any 100 level HIS or permission of instructor
