Description

This course will provide the student with a survey of equine behavior and training techniques through videos, research and required reading. The physical and mental processes that contribute to equine behavior will be covered. A variety of methods of working with the foal, haltering, leading, early handling procedures, longeing, long lining, bitting and backing the colt will be covered.
Prerequisite: Junior/Senior standing or permission of instructor
