Description

This course is available only to students seeking a second certification after completion of a MED course in secondary school administration.
Through reading, role-playing, and data-gathering, students will gain understanding of the following three areas of elementary administration: (1) the role of the elementary principal as leader and manager within the school district, community, and legal frameworks; (2) the various management and leadership tacks performed by elementary school principals; and (3) several models for administrative decision-making and problem-solving.
