Description

This course explores the physical, mental, social, cultural and emotional development of the adolescent and middle level child. These developmental issues are placed in the context of the teaching-learning process. The student will become aware of the causes of concerns and problems for these age groups as well as resources to assist parents and educators during this time of transition. Twenty (20) hours of clinical experience in the schools is required.
