My name is Jami, I am currently employed with State Farm Insurance as an auto claims adjuster. I have worked at State Farm for the past 6 years and 5 of those years I worked in the IT department as a cellular support specialist. I graduated high school from Wellsville Middletown R1 in 2000. Right out of high school I moved to Columbia and attended Columbia College. My freshman year was spend doing everything besides school work and my grades greatly reflected that. To redeem myself I spent the next two years working on my associates degree at Moberly Area Community College. After graduating, I was not sure what I wanted to do and found myself working in both retail and restaurant management. In 2005 I was hired on at State Farm and fell in love with the company and knew that I wanted to continue to grow with them.  State Farm has a tuition reimbursement program, so after a 6 year break from school I decided it was time to go back and get my bachelor's degree.  I graduated from William Woods University in May 2011 with a degree in business management. With today's competition I knew that I would need more than just a 4 year degree, so once again I found myself going back to school. I am not married and I do not have any children. My mom and three sisters live in Columbia and I enjoy spending time with them as well as my boyfriend. One thing the class may not know about me, I hardly ever watch TV, I would much rather read a good book by Steven King.
