Description

Functioning of each body system will be systematically studied, building upon structures learned in Human Anatomy, with emphasis placed upon clinical applications in human systems, anabolic and catabolic energy pathways, the chemical functioning of the body, and levels of organization will be analyzed. Homeostatic and intergrative control mechanisms will be discussed. Laboratory experiences will include human physiological probes and software for the computer, as well as traditional monitoring. (Lab fee)
Prerequisites: BIO203, CHM114, MAT111 or MAT120
